The Effia constituency in the Western Region of Ghana was created in 2012. Since its creation,the NPP has won this seat till this day.

Tertiary Educational Institutions Network Takoradi Technical University chapter (TEIN TTU ) is in the Effia constituency and has congratulated the parliamentary candidate elect on the 13th May 2023 NDC parliamentary and presidential primaries.

TEIN TTU has assured the candidate Mr. Abdul Majeed Nasam of their support and it readiness to deploy all their arsenals and work extra hard to assist the Parliamentary candidate to win the seat in 2024’s General Election.
