The high-life living legend, Ofori Amposah said “the church is a major place that kills talents”, Many were not agreeing with him when the Oto lego hitmaker made that statement in an interview on TV XYZ but it’s true. The likes of Kuami Eugene, Kidi, etc were forced from church because of no help from the church.
Many men of God of today and churches are causing harm to the youth with their usual quote, ” Freely you receive Freely shall you give”, As a result of that many good singers, and instrumentalists are finding their way out to feed themselves. Some have turned into Smokers, drug dealers, prostitutes, etc to find rest in life but still in the church. Most men of God think only of themselves and the beautification of the Church building instead of the members. Most churches of today don’t want to invest in the members but want to gain.
Finally, though many youths and members have disappointed churches and men of God, Rev.Micheal Nana Ankomeah, the founder of the Glory of God international church once said it is not good for the church of today to think about spirituality only. Till the church minimize “God’s blessing” and proves it financially, etc. most youth and members will move away from the church, especially the talented and God-gifted ones.
