Otto Addo has left his role as the Black Stars head coach after the West African nation elimination from the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar
There were initial reports that, the German-based gaffer will resign right after the World Cup and has rejected the opportunity to lead the national team afterwards, and this has confirmed the authenticity of the early speculations.
The Black Stars painfully got eliminated earlier today after losing to 2-0 to Uruguay at the Al Janoub Stadium in their final group game.
However, they had already beaten South Korea 3-2, and stood a huge chance to qualify to the round of 16 despite losing to Portugal in their opening game.
The 47 year old right after Ghana’s exit has resigned and is set to return to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
