The attitude of some Ghanaians is confirming the saying”Ghanaians have short memories”.This statement was made by Ex-president John Dramani Mahama, who is also the flag bearer of the New Democratic congrats(NDC). Everything shows, especially the actions of the Ghanaians toward the Electronic levy abbreviated as the E-levy.
Ghanaians blasted and spoke against the E-levy when it was first introduced in the 2022 nation’s budget. But these some citizens are hailing the government after the E-levy law was passed. Ghanaians have forgotten that it is forever, And the amount will be increasing as time goes on. According to the explanation of the E-levy, the NPP government said, the levy will help Ghanaians financially and moderate Ghanaians in terms of buying and selling. But a sachet of pure water will be sold at 40ps after the law is currently passed. Will the E-levy help or not.
Ghanaians should think twice because, Since the time of Dr.Kwame Nkrumah to John Dramani Mahama, No president developed the Country with E-levy. Ghanaians should expect more hardship than now if it is so.
