A Trainee Nurse Killed and Buried By A Pastor And A Chief (Video)
In Mankessim, in the Central Region, police are holding a pastor because he admitted to helping a chief kidnap a 25-year-old nurse trainee and bury her in the chief’s room.
On September 20, the pastor led investigators to the room of Nana Crack, the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom, where Georgina Asor Botchwey’s body was dug up.
Reports say that after they took her hostage, the two may have had several sex sessions with her before killing her.
Then, she was buried in one of the chief’s rooms. The chief is now on the run.
People say that the body has been buried for three weeks.
People in the area are worried about the situation, especially since it involves a chief.
Cephas Arthur, the Assembly Member for the area, asked the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to make Mankessim and the area around it safer.
He said that this is not the first time something like this has happened in the area. In fact, this is the fifth time this has happened this year.
He said that if caught, the law should punish both the pastor and the chief.
Since then, the body of the person who died has been taken to the morgue at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for an autopsy.
