The discussion of the legalization of LGBT rights in Ghana has transcended the shores of Ghana.

Currently, Ghana is on most international platforms over the  LGBTQ bill saga – there are various discussions going on about the legalization of LGBT rights in Ghana.

British musician, Boy George has composed a song for President Akufo Addo to reconsider passing the bill into law.

Appearing on the Jonathan Ross show hosted by Jonathan Ross, gay musician Boy Geroge revealed that he’s released a song for President Akufo-Addo highlighting the reasons why it’s inhumane to criminalise gayism in Ghana.

Over the past few months, there has been intense debate about the legalization of gay rights in Ghana.

The discussions have taken over the media as some lawyers, human rights activists and academia get on board to push for gay rights in Ghana.

Currently, the bill is before the parliament and Ghanaians are allowed to present a memorandum either for or against the bill.

However, according to the records, only 7 percent of Ghanaians are tolerant of gays as against 93 percent who oppose the same s*× marriage.

But at the end of the day, the government would have to make a decision either for or against the matter.
